    Test a riot shield and shoot it with bullets of different calibers. Firstly, using a Ruger 22 pistol with a caliber of 5.6 * 15mm to shoot the riot shield, and the shield has no obvious marks. Next, using a FN 57 pistol, with SS190 bullet, a caliber of 5.7 * 28mm to shoot the riot shield. The bullet was embedded in the shield but did not penetrate. Finally, using an AK-47 with a caliber of 7.62 * 39mm, it was found that the bullet penetrated the shield.

    So the test have shown that riot shields cannot be bulletproof and can only be used in low-risk riot environments to defend against violent attacks, rather than commonly used high damage bullets. If the application environment of the shield is dangerous, it is recommended to use qualified bulletproof shields.
