The 19th China Renewable Energy Conference recently announced the "2024 Solar cell China's highest efficiency" list, which includes six Longi cell efficiency records. These records include the 34.6% crystalline silicon-perovskite laminated cell efficiency world record, the 27.30% monocrystalline silicon solar cell (HBC) efficiency world record, and the 27.0% full back contact solar cell (TBC) efficiency record.

To date, Longi has achieved world records in high-temperature monocrystalline silicon solar cells, low-temperature monocrystalline silicon solar cells, and laminated solar cells.

Since 2017, the Photovoltaic Professional Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society (CPVS) has annually summarized and released the highest efficiency of solar cells in China. Its influence is growing in the photovoltaic field at home and abroad, and it has become the most authoritative solar cell efficiency record data in China.

In this year's list, Longi's self-developed TBC battery efficiency record was listed for the first time. After testing by international authoritative third-party testing institutions, the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the TBC cell independently developed by Longi has reached 27.00%. This update sets a new photoelectric conversion efficiency record for all kinds of photovoltaic high-temperature technology batteries. This achievement marks another breakthrough in BC battery technology after Longi HBC low-temperature battery set a world record of 27.30% photoelectric conversion efficiency in May this year.

The world-record-breaking battery adopts the high-temperature technology route with an opening voltage of 746mV. This marks the first time that a photovoltaic high-temperature technology route battery has broken through 27% conversion efficiency, making Longi HBC battery one of only two technologies worldwide to achieve this milestone at over 27.0%.
